animal repeller reviews Animal Repeller ReviewAnimal Repeller Review:

The other night I was taking out the garbage and as I was half asleep I heard a sound so loud that somebody was heaving soccer balls at me! Turns out it was just a gigantic Raccoon but still never the less I wasn’t in the best of moods over it! (Bell and Howell Animal Repeller)

Another thing that might hit a little closer to home was we started a garden awhile back and when one of the neighbors had started their garden a little bit before us so we could see everything that was working or not working for them. He had some amazing looking corn growing in his garden but soon enough squirrels were ravaging his garden like it was Thanksgiving Day!

Do you have pest problems in your garden? Are you tired of animals lurking at night just to discover in the morning that your flowers have been eaten/trampled/ or fill in the blank with who knows what?

Yeah me too! So I started looking into safe ways to get rid of them (my neighbor just started shooting at them with a pellet gun which was high comedy to say the least). That is when I discovered Bell and Howell Animal Repeller!

Animal Repeller Review: Let’s break down a few things here. What are the Ultra Sonic Animal Repellers key features?

  • Safe & Humane
  • Solar Powered
  • Infrared Works Day & Night
  • Works Indoors & Outdoors
  • Weatherproof
  • Garden Stake Included
  • Rear mounting bracket (screws included) to place on tree or fence

This Animal Repeller Review says so what; how does it all work right? Well you see the high frequency ultrasonic sound is unpleasant for those pesky animals to listen to. So when they hear the Ultrasonic Animal Repeller making all that racket (which by the way you cannot hear) they get the heck out of dodge. Now how about installation is it easy to install? It easily mounts to almost any surface but comes with its own mounting stake so you can place it almost anywhere you can even drill it to your garbage cans if you really wanted to! (I wouldn’t but still you could) Once animals come within range, the built in infrared motion detector activates, both in daylight and even at night, emitting a powerful, ultrasonic sound that sends pests scurrying for safety. So you might be thinking what if they are in one part of my yard destroying stuff up to how far away can this thing actually work? It works from up to 30 feet away. Now on top of all that it’s weatherproof and solar powered.

Now how about some reality check stuff any hitches with the Bell and Howell Animal Repeller? Well even though it is stated as being “solar powered” you still need 4 AA batteries to work the ultrasonic sound device the only thing that is solar powered is the motion detection keeping track of your lurking pests.

Now the key to this whole thing is that the motion detectors HAVE to be able to pick up the motion in order for the ultrasonic sounds to be emitted. Full disclosure here as many people who purchase this product and after they have mounted it somewhere in the garden expect it to start working immediately well this is not the case as it will only start to emit the high pitched ultrasonic sounds only after it has detected some motion. After it has detected a motion usually about 30 to 60 seconds is when it will then start to work.

So you might be thinking to yourself as I was what types of animals does it repel?

Animal Repeller Review: Animals it Repels:

  • Raccoons
  • Stray cats and dogs
  • Deer
  • Rabbits
  • Skunks
  • Mice
  • Squirrels
  • Chipmunks
  • Bats

Well what are some of the major complaints with the Bell & Howell Animal Repeller? Most people usually complain in many pest control forums that this electronic pest control device is not working and fail to realize that it only starts to do so once motion has been detected. The fact is that you will not hear any ultrasonic sound of it unless there is a motion. Again the Bell & Howell Animal Repeller is not meant to be used to get rid of smaller insects and rodents in the house it is only used for the outdoor animals.

Some people have even gone as far as to say stuff like the batteries are not packed together (they are not included that is why) or whether or not the Solar Power is actually working or not. If you are worried about whether or not the Animal Repeller is humane it is clear that the Bell & Howell animal Repeller is a very humane way to get rid of unwanted animals that have been messing up your yard for quite some time. You do not want to hit the animals and may be hurt them but you just want to keep them away from your lawn.

Overall this animal repeller review feels that if you are looking for something that works to get rid of some of the more pesky animals that are ruining your lawn or garden and digging in your garbage cans then the Bell and Howell Animal Repeller is perfect for you!
